Im not sure what type of textile jacket you are talking about, but I have a Joe Rocket mesh summer jacket that I have crashed in a dozen times or so at all different speeds including 55+ and is still barely damaged. you can tell on one shoulder that it has been down, but only if you look close.

I haven't picked one out that i want. I only have about 150 to spend. I want something that should keep you warm when riding in 50 degree weather (florida winters). Any suggestions? I would prefer something with removable liner and armour.

This is my Joe Rocket Ballistic after a slow speed (25-30mph) Crash, I would have been fine but it rolled up my arm. The elbow padding saved me from breaking my elbow though. Thumbs up to that....

I crashed at about 40 and my alpinestars t-stunt jacket ripped in several places. I didn't get any upper body road rash. I sewed up the rips and I still use it.......sorry, no pics.
