Finally got my CBR fixed..

Thanks go out to goodluck monkey for fixing my bike!! Now got working front and rear brakes (lol) and a new clutch.. all seems fine now! done 3 oil changes today too so should be fine!!

Well it rides fine anyway! took a while to bed in the brake pads and clutch and I haven't ridden for aaaaagesss so I took a bit of time to get used to it but started getting the hang of it again!!

Here's goodluckmonkey!! Check out the last few pics, that was PIMP .. im gonna put it in a video in the not so far future...

And here's me on the finally working f4i

Was a brilliant day today, and I'm NOT FAR from that plate.. still got a lot of practice before I hit it though!! But slowly getting there..

No accidents today except me falling off whilst sat in highchair.. I hit the kill switch and fell sideways LOL and there was a car right behind me at the time haha

I use grip tape that is used for skate boards works greet only downside is that it ****s your jeans up. When i do combo's alot i have to buy every 2 weeks of riding a new jeans

can you make a picture of your grip tape stuff and what kind of stuff is that?

Re: Finally got my CBR fixed..

It's not tape stuff that I put on, more of a grippy fabric stuff.. hopefully with this, the material will wear out instead of my trousers... dont want to be replacing my £80 draggin jeans every 2 weeks!

The material is usually found in big rolls at DIY type shops... it's also the same stuff that you might find at a car shop like Halfords as its sometimes sold for use on dashboards to stop stuff slipping off..

to be honest I havent even tried a spreader yet.. gonna start practicing them soon.

Re: Finally got my CBR fixed..

i think i will stay on grip tape i had also tryed that surf stuff don't work that greet.

and the jeans.. why the hell are you using a 80 pound jeans for stunting??
i buy 50 euro jeans (the cheapest i coud find) just for stunting and the good jeans i leave home lol..

you will crash and your jeans will be ****ed
you will be stuck on something with you jeans and it will be ****ed..
you have no grip tape so your jeans will be good on that one lol

but i woud find a cheaper jeans if where you

ps watch out that it don't get lose (your some sort of grip tape).

Re: Finally got my CBR fixed..

they are £80 cos they are kevlar lined jeans.. when i can slow it down and do mostly slow stuff then i'll just wear normal jeans.. i wore leathers when i first started out.. gradually getting slower so gradually changing what i wear...
