getting quiet.

riding tapering off for a few people now, big mark hard at graft, myself doing sh*t to the house, billy has bike problems, lee definaltly has bike problems(god bles'im), as for everyone else, well it gets dark real quick and the weathers getting worse. You can tell when people arent outthere hitting the streets coz there posts taper off. this forum always has somthin new on but in winter its difficult to keep it up as theres not much going on and alot of people are busy with pers sh*t. dont ya love th UK weather.

Re: getting quiet.

Me and Clare went travelling on our bikes in July, went around Europe and s**t, came home through Switzerland and decided to come home through St Gotthards tunnel, which is about 15km long, we overtook a few cars and waiting at the end of the tunnel was a policeman , he took our passports, log books etc and told us to follow him to a police station. I just thought we would get a slap on the wrists and be told to bugger off, Think again!!!! After an hour of waiting around two officers came out and told us we would have to pay a fine of 5000 swiss francs each, or face the risk of being put in jail and having our bikes confiscated for good. so we paid the fine! It didnt seem to bad until we worked out the exchange rate, it worked out at £2300 each we had to pay! I cried most of the way to Belgium!!! Thank goodness for credit cards!!!!!
