Yours looks good masked Carl, but stevie's could be cleaned up more. Look for a mask feather or chocker option in the effects... depending on what program your using of course. That option will fade the edges so it doesn't look so pixelated.

hehe I always just used the blurry tool to clean up edges Doesn't come out great every time though. Work with the history brush alot too, while heavily zoomed in can get rid of some of the open gaps
