03' XR50: kinda beat looking, stock bars are a little bit bent. Frame, bars, and triple are painted black. Have a handlebar riser, and reinforced frame with a metal tail (not 12' bar, but protects the rear fender when you flip). Tranny was just rebuilt and has no miles on it. Oil just changed. All plastics are there but stickered up. Will sell for $650 as is or $750 with new bars. Bike is clean (not stolen) but is financed so paperwork is limited (title held by bank). I heard this guy is a scam. You send him money and you get nothing like a 954 engine.

 

Hahaha.. Thats funny. Yeah, I ran into a few problems selling a 954 motor for a friend. I played the middle man. Sold the motor for $400 which included shipping. I paid my friend $300 for the motor, then my life fell apart for a few weeks (suicide of friend, broke up w/ gf, job loss, etc.) Life sucked and this kid I sold the motor to was cool. He understood. So I crate this motor up, pay to ship (which cost over $100, so now I tapped into my own $$), and the motor gets picked up. Well, the motor made it 1 state over when it started leaking oil out the crate. The motor gets returned, I get no refund on shipping charges cuz "it's my packaging error". Ok, I suck it up, drain the motor (entirely), re-crate and ship again. Another $100+. Get's into the local UPS warehouse and the crate breakes. RETURNED AGAIN, $100 money loss.
At this point I contact this person to see if they are going to Stuntwars in FL. My friends are going down, they can deliver it for me in an enclosed trailer. This guy says no, I'm NOT going to the show. I won't be in Florida. So I re-package and call in for another pickup at my house, which UPS refused. Well, before I can even contact this person again, I get a call from my boys who are a well known stunt team. They're down in Florida at Stuntwars and the kid I sold the motor to is there, asking questions and talking **** about me. This is the same kid who said he wasn't going a week before, if that long. So it comes down to this: I financially can't afford to keep trying to send and personally, I don't even wanna deal with this person anymore. So at this point I'm just trying to save up his $400 which comes outta my pocket, the middleman, to send it back to him. I don't have this money saved up or laying around. I got laid off when I broke my arm in December of lastyear. I wanna do the right thing no matter how much I'm upset about what has been said about me, or how much money I lost. I'm not a bitch and I don't punk people outta their money. I'm an honest person who's having a tough friggin time with finances and personal ****. I'm not bad-talking anyone on here, especially this kid. I can understand his anger and I'd probably feel scammed too. Selling this fiddy is just gonna get him his dough quicker. I'm currently fixing it up a bit so it's worth a lil more than it did when I got it.
CBR954Mike: I don't know how you know of this, if you know the person or it was in a post, but maybe you should ask somebodies side of the story before you start posting that their a scammer... Not trying to start **** with ya, I got no problems with ya. Anyone can post anything about anyone else. I could say someone beat me for $6000 on a motorcycle sale that never really happened. Gotta know the facts before you say stuff like that.
Hope this clears up the mess, and if this person is reading this (you know who you are), I will get you your money ASAP. I'm not gonna beat ya, despite what you think. Some people are better off than others and can afford nicer things and have money to spend. I live day by day on limited funds. Things are tight. It's not like I actually made money off selling you this motor. I got f*cked over too, and it's no ones fault but my own. I never should have played middle-man and responded to your "Parts Wanted" ad when you needed a motor, but I was trying to help you out. I'm sorry things didn't work out the way we wanted them to, but I will make good on it.
