well whats a good start (93)? cause i dont want a tank of gas i cant use.

Just put a little of the cheaper stuff in it, and run it for a little bit. If you get pinging drain it and run something with higher octane. A quarter tank of gas will cost you all of 50 cents or so. Or just run the expensive stuff, it does really matter.

the bike will run like **** with high octane gas if it is not needed. my buddy has a takegawa 88 and he runs 87 octane all day with no problems. kitaco and takegawa kits are low compression.

i run 13:1 on 87 with no pinging its all in how you set up your carb
