FYI cheap rectifier

For those of you who have rewound the stator for lights on your fiddy, you can get a cheap rectifier to run 12v DC stuff. Radio shack has them for $3.29. http://www.radioshack.com/product.as...1185&hp=search

u will still need a regulator. all this does is convert AC to DC

in most of those write ups i never remember anythign about a rectifier, do most of the 12v regulators act as a rectigier also???

no, if yer running llights, u dont need one, now a cd player or something, u would need a rectifier. this might help...

Sorry I was not able to talk about the rectifier, the hurricane put a hurt on things here,.. But my fiddy is alright.
