just wondering if anybody with a Z50 has used or know anything about the Classic Honda pipes? Looking at the low road style race pipe. Talked with someone that was running one on a CT70 and he said it worked awesome for his application.

 

i do motard so i use a low pipe for that,
i run a cobra pipe for an atc 90
works sweet and they are half the price of anyone elses because it isnt for a 50

 

Really? That's cool, i was also thinking of keeping a high mount style and use a FMF or Pro Cicuit for a XR70. We've done a little trial and error on those and it definitely opens it up.

Cobra ATC 90 you say, huh? Cool, that should be nice and cheap too. No mods to the pipe though, just right out of the box??

 

I run two exhaust gaskets in my 70 motor
and i had to tweak it in,it sticks way out there if you dont, so i heated it up right up under the brake pedal, got it all layed out then welded it together
made a bracket for the rear just a piece of scrap steel,just used the seat bolt for the holder and the pipe came with the other
it gets hit now and then but it has held up well i usually get slammed on the other side far more than that side
you can see how big the hole is comming out of the megaphone so if your not running at least a 70 this wont really help and will probably make it run worse
if its just a stk motor
