Quit being a knucklehead, and by the way it is thermodynamics, not thermal dynamics...no talent *** clown.

Re: 72cc big bore kit?

your right it is thermodynamics if your talking physics
i didnt see that i typed thermal
but i did my bad
why you callin me names ? showing off ?
do i know you?
im just trying to help out
i posted up pages so you could read it and learn something
without calling anyone names
why dont you post up something that says im wrong
instead of showing your ignorance with name calling
when im wrong im the first to admit it
i like to learn new stuff so post it up ill read it
otherwise shut the **** up and learn something

I was going top let this thread just dissapear because it is retarded, but since you are calling me out here is my reply. In your first post you said heat is HP. It isn't. Later you said temperature is HP. This is true. There is a diffrence between heat and temperature, they are not the same thing. Many people use the terms like they are the same. I'm not trying to flame you or anything, just trying to put this stupid thread to rest. Now lets all go ride some muthaphuckin' fiddies! :YEAH

As you say it here...

I'm also just giving my opinion of course...

Before you start telling people that their college education was a waste of money and time maybe you should think about it...I went to the same school as Niner..

Re: 72cc big bore kit?

what school is it? MMI? i went to honda school i went to kawasaki school i went to ducati school factory certified it doesnt have anything to do with racing technology just basics you learn racing stuff by racing and blowing up motors and learning from your mistakes and ill be the first to admit ive blown up a few trying this or that to see what i could or couldnt get away with

anyway.....
temprature websters defines as the degree of hotness or coldness
or othewise a measurment of heat or cold
thesaurus first word after temp is heat
which in a motor is heat from the combustion chamber
your spliting hairs like your horsepower formula a calculation of it not how to make it im not flaming ya
you want heat in the combustion chamber is all i was saying
you want the right amount of it you dont want it all over everywhere else
you say tomato i say tomAto same difference

A little more reliable than websters is "introduction to heat transfer fourth edition by Frank P. Incropera and David P. DeWit". Here is an exerpt:The units of work (hp) and energy are, of course, equivalent, although it is customary to use the Brittish thermal unit (Btu) as the unit of thermal energy. One Brittish thermal unit will raise the temperature of 1lbm of water at 68 degress F by 1 degree F. It is equivalent to 778.16 ft*lbf, which is thermed the mechanical equivalent of heat. This all says that heat isn't the same as temperature. This is basic stuff. It is on page 30 of a 891 page book. If you need me to further explain, just post up again.

Re: 72cc big bore kit?

a 4 stroke motor uses a precise mixture of fuel and oxygen to burn. key word being burn here. we put the fuel into a chamber smash it into a small pancake and then light a match to it for laymen. thus creating Heat and an explosion the force of the explosion causes the piston to move and then the residual motion causes the Heat to exit the engine. if there is no heat there is no fire and if thats happenin your pushin it like a ford. There
it takes heat to move

Re: 72cc big bore kit?

The otto cycle is an ideal 4 cycle process which contains 2 reversible processes between 2 adiabatic processes. Reversivble-adiabatic-reversible-adiabatic. This is a perfect cycle with no losses.

Oh and by the way, adiabatic means fully insulated.

Oh and you would not feel any heat.

Re: 72cc big bore kit?

ok let me see if i understand this
the lil gauge in your car the one that has
c----h now is that a thermometer,
a thermalmeter or a temprature meter?
and what is it measuring? measuring temprature?
caused by what? the heat the motor makes?the heat the water makes?
the cold the motor makes? the air in the engine compartment?

adiabatic means fully insulated
sure you spelt that right?
oh i got it
Adiabatic - Without loss or gain of heat to a system. An adiabatic change is a change in volume and pressure of a parcel of gas without an exchange of heat between the parcel and its surroundings. In reference to a steam turbine, the adiabatic efficiency is the ratio of the work done per pound of steam, to the heat energy released and theoretically capable of transformation into mechanical work during the adiabatic expansion of a unit weight
