Stering stem bearing

Stering stem bearing

man i got alot play in my stering stem i think my bearing or gone i was thinkin of gettin the bbr ones, is there somthin else in there i need to replace to make it quit movin, and how do i do it , only tell if you know for sure

I would say you should be able to get away with tighting it before you would have to replace any bearings. You just have to loosen triple clamp nut use a drift and tighten nut below and retighten triple clamp nut.
I have replaced my bearings only because I got the Sano frame and it did not come with bearings. No big deal when driving the new races just make sure what ever you drive them in with doesn't make contact with the surface the ball bearings ride on.

And where would somone get there hands on somthing like that for a 50. I'd love to spend my money on that option.

Well Tapered berings anyway big improvement.Sorry about the sealed thing they are not.

i am goin to get those tapered cuz local shop wants 30 for stock so..... and i did tightn both the bolts and there is still alot play i am afraid to ride on jumps and try stopis cuz i think my stem might break

Im sure u already know this but just making sure...u have to loosen the top nut before u can tighten the thing under it, otherwise it wont get tight.
