I've just started my search for a fiddy and have a few questions. What year did honda start to make decent fiddys? Are all the years of xr50's four stroke? Does any company besides honda make a 50 worthy to stunt on? Whats a good price for a used fiddy, I'm looking for something cheap so age doesn't matter as long as it runs good.

xr = 4 stroke, cr = 2 stroke, new crf = 4 stroke. i'd say $400-$800( if like new). get a honda if you can...

 

They started making xr50s in 2000.I would stick with a 2000 or newer model.Although a few ppl like the Z50 with were made from the beginning of time till 1999.Hondas 50s have always been decent if not great.Keep looking and you may find one for like 700-800.It will be a bit beat on or a bone stocker.good luck

 

Honda 50's have been the **** since 1969 here in the USA. The newer style XR/CRF's came out in 2000. I like the Z's and wanted the newest one possible so I got a 1999, the last year they made them. You can still buy Z50 Replicas new from companies like Jencheng and Lifan for around $800. They are actually good quality machines for the money but still they are not Hondas.
