What jet

I'm gonna run a standalone filter on my '93Z. Everything else is stock. Just wondering what jet and needle setting people are running. I've heard 60 jet, clip 2 notch from bottom.

Its trial and error for jetting and different from Bike to bike.

My Z50 ran best with a 60 main jet with the stock carb.

Pete's Z50 has a 62 main in it and it runs great. It runs too lean with the 60. The jets are only a couple bucks each so experiment.

Got the air filter and 60 jet in it now. Bought the 62 jet as well, but ran like garage in 3rd. Love the way it sounds with the open air filter.

The only problem is I'm getting hesistation if I whack it wide open from idle. Is that a needle adjustment?
