I'm looking into an 88cc kit and have read every post about it. Has anyone determined what the best setups are?

From cheap way to complete 88cc kit way?

Can it be done by just getting a cylinder, piston, rings and gasket?

Do I need to add a head and/or carb? If so, what size?

 

go to sick 50's order the light bore kit it's around 269.00 it comes with a cam the keep every thing stock carb air filter and pipe

by far the best and cheapest power out there

 

i got the kitaco complete kit, more power but can be a pain in the ***, just changed my main jet to a 91 seems to help....

 

weedracer's right if you gotta be cheap about it then just a 88 bore kit will work fine. you just gotta tune the stock carb (drop the clip two notches / adjust airscrew). i'm running the takegawa hyper s-stage w/ 20mm carb (85 main jet) and it's strong as hell, the carb makes a huge difference and i think it's worth it.

im the last one in my crew wit a stock motor. its just too much power for me. i love the smoothness of the stock motor. im 100% street and thats just what i like. to each their own i guess.
