pics of new bar kit

finally got some pics of my bar kit, i got some rusty ol' GT kneesavers, restored them, chopped an inch off each side and then had them painted (all for free!), and mounted it all up w/ fast50s stuff. rides perfect i love'em.

Got some cheap BMX bars for mine, & also re-made stainless steel 5mm plate to enable bars to move foward. Got my bar clamps from a bike wreaker.
All up $40.
Looks O.K, but saves $$$ for more mods.

1st post! what up kiwi - your setup looks pretty sweet, esp. for only $40! did you have a metal shop cut the triple clamp for you or was it DIY?

Hey dude, got a metal shop next door. I just borrowed the plasma cutter & cut it out of 5mm plate, then polished it up with a sanding wheel.
At times I have to improvise & try & make stuff myself. Because being all the way over the other side of the world, everything I buy out of the U.S I end up paying about 40% more than the purchase price for freight, customs tax etc..
I had to bite the bullet for Takegawa 88 kit, rev box, exhaust, springs, oh well.
Made my own sticker kit last week, looks OK though.
Thx for the welcome
