88cc 2 brothers kit for stuntin?
88cc 2 brothers kit for stuntin?
I have a 2003 fiddy. runs mint, love how smooth it is to ride & play around on - but want some more power.
I was gonna buy a Two brothers 88cc (tagawa how ever ya spell it)
My only concern is - does it take the fun & how smooth the fiddy is? I know the big bore is good to race & jump - but, i dont wanna loose how easy & smooth it is to wheelie.
any input rocks.

The big bore kits will make wheelies so easy you will laugh.
They are dirt cheap...
Buy the whole kit for $275 from

for some things big bore kits suck and for others they are nice.. the bike wont be as smooth so you'll need better throttle control... BUT
the engine braking will be worth it.. I can to tank wheelies for days reallllly slow and highchairs much easier with a big bore kit

not to argue, but with a big bore.............. its going to be more twitchy no matter how you look at it. Just like a gixxer1000 is twitchier than a EX250
I know silver surfer (like hang out with him) he gets his **** dyno'd ALL the time...so he does have real smooth ride.
Some people dont dyno tune there 50 all the time (what a ***
) so there 88 might be more choppy...but I do agree with Nags in the twitchyness...cuz I have ridden others 88's and they are choppy for me....but Silvers Surfers is baby smooth (not choppy at all) but then again....the *** has personal mechanic

Don't be a hater R6bbie.
I swear I'm going to buy you something for your Fiddy for Christmas so its not stock anymore.
He'll work on your **** too R6bbie. I actually do a lot of the work myself and he just tells me how. I was over there for 4 hours on Sunday and once he started boozin he didn't shut up.
I was ready to beat him with a wrench because nothing was getting done, but he has 2 TV's with surround sound, air conditioning in the summer, heat in the winter and a big fridge in there.
Yes its true my 50 spins his dyno drum quite often these days ..but hey I just gotta have the best **** and the smoooooootthhhhhessssttt fiddy. I will soon have 7-8 RWHP.
...and like I said proper gearing is what its all about with a BIG BORE. It was very twitchy until the gearing was figured out.

same topic....gearing question answered

https://www.stuntlife.com/forums/sho...threadid=48469 I changed my gearing 3 times until its perfect. It really depends on your BiG BORE and how its set up. I also have the big carb and my head is fully ported. It also make a difference if you have the BIG BORE with a cam or not. As of right now I do not have a cam in my bike.
If you want to do a big bore without a cam you will have to do more radical gear changes if you want to still keep your top end speed for running from the cops etc. With just the big bore kit and no gear changes I literally lost about 4 mph on the top end. Having a cam will allow your motor to REV up higher RPMS on the top end so extreme gearing is not needed.
I have a 15 tooth counter sprocket and a 35 tooth rear sprocket on mine. My Z also has shorter 8 inch tires so the gearing will be different from a XR/CRF. Having taller tires like the street scooter tires many of you are using will also give you more top end and smooth things out.
The only way to get it right is by trial and error and experimenting. with different tire size combinations. Remember that going down on the rear sprocket gives you more top end speed. Going up on the front sprocket gives you more top end speed.
Changing the front sprocket 1 tooth is the same as changing the rear 3 teeth.

My kit came with a cam so I don't have to worry about that. I haven't installed my kit yet but a friend of mine has the same one and his has a little too much tork. If I have that problem I will either change the rear sprocket a couple teeth down or switch the front one tooth up. Thanks for you help !!
damn it....my 88 kit is still at the store...cuz i have not bought it..you guys suck
