are all after market shock/fork springs the same for the most part. or are some better than the others. any ones to avoid if they are in fact different?

 

some people may say applied springs suck, and they do at first but once they get used more they're awesome. yeah, all the springs are pretty much the same.

 

Yup all very much the same...

 

i think something rediculus like 75%+ of springs are made by eibach, supposedly the machines that make the springs cost billions of dollars so only a few major companys own them, they just make the springs to whatever sizes/rates other manufacturers request, that'll be the biggest difference. (i.e. they also make the springs that are in bic pens, etc.)
