Anyone have any advice about the install of a 4 speed manual trans and clutch from a ct70 motor into a XR 50. I will let you know my outcome but I just bought a 70 with that trans and clutch. Got have the clutch. Wish me luck and any advice would be great.

this may help... I got a that same clutch kit in my bike... i love it

 

cut down yer stock shift shaft instead of using the 70 one. it is shorter and will not work in the fiddy unless u mod the shifter. like shown in that thread. other than that, i hope u have an impact driver and alot of patience. the motor comes down to the bare nuthins for the swap. a service manual would be a good idea also. any more questions hit me up on AIM or email me. good luck!!
