DO NOT BUY THAT SHOCK!!!! i have the same EXACT shock that i bought for $12 at a go kart shop for a previous project. i tryed it on my fiddy. not only was it a pain in the *** to get in, it rides like total *** and will bounce u all over the damn place. i think it even has less travel than the stock shock. go with the gear works springs. they are the best bang for the buck. i've had them for a few months now. i am upgrading to the rear iShock however. my buddy has one and that thing is BAD ***.

The kitaco 88cc light bore kit has got to be the best bang for the buck @$260. Keep the stock pipe, stock carb, stock filter setup, stock gearing and the bike will run awsome. Upgrade any one of those things mentioned, you will lose performance!

get a 88cc s-stage, less than $500 and badass. for shock, ishock. for seat, all the companys besides Fast50s sell the same foam, and for cover, which ever you like best. I like the one industries cover because it's pretty much plain.

Don't buy the fast50's tall seat foam and cover. The foam is allright, but on my cover the 2 emblems that were sewn on were crooked as *****. I just took them off and now I have to live with the holes in the seat cover. Fast50's tall seat foam and cover

it might a little cause it revs faster and it just has more power. its totally different. nothing a little practice can't fix.

Well these engines come from the factory a little corked up with the air filter and pipe thats on them. Put an aftermarket pipe and filter on them. You gain some topend power and loose bottomend. Put that 88 kit on a totally stock bike and it will have tons of bottomend power. It won`t bog anywhere, very little jetting is required and is very fun to ride. It will have more top end than stock, But will rarely hit the stock rev limiter unless its WOT on the street for a long time.
Now if your like me and can`t leave well enough alone. You add high flow filter, rev box, and a pipe. Spend hours jetting it and now you have bike with a little more topend and very little bottom end compared to what you started out with. hhhmm must need a bigger carb to compensate for all that air flow. Ok 20mm carb is on. The bike bogs and hesitates like a **** then pulls unbelievably hard on the topend. That bog must be from the fact that I`m trying to force all this gas and air through an intake port in the cylinder head the size of my pinky finger. Add a highflow cylinder head and the bike runs clean again. No bogs and tons of power throughout the entire rpm range.
The moral of the story is all of your aftermarket parts must work together to have smooth running engine. Don`t try and compensate. If you going to make part of the engine highflow, make the whole thing highflow. This is just based on my own experiance, But I would save $200 and buy the kitaco light bore over the takegawa s-stage. Then when I was ready to double the power again get a cylinder head and a carb that is bigger than the one that comes with the s-stage.

BlownSVT will the 88cc make the bike much louder than stock when run like you suggest ? (stock+88cc Kitaco) I like to ride my 50 in the subdivison.

If it does it is very little. The only added noise I`ve noticed from a bike with this setup is a slight popping noise when decelerating from a highspeed third gear run. The bike is far from loud and will have enough torque to loop right out in 3rd from a @3mph roll. Too much fun
