I took my choke off and put a cap in it too. My bike has a stock head, cylinder, and carb. I haven’t jb welded it yet, but I want to soon.

My bike seems to run fine since I put the cap in, however, I have these parts: a head breather hose, Uni air filter, Kitaco cdi, HRC cam, and a Two Brothers pipe. I did notice my bike had a little less bottom end power, but other than that it seems faster without the choke.

What other parts are running on your bike? That might make a difference. I haven't jetted my bike yet even though it probably needs it. It pops a little when I let off the gas and when it revs out. I have my needle on the lowest clip, but I am thinking about adjusting it again because this is the setting I had before I took the choke out.

Good luck experimenting and if you figure out the jetting let me know. Later
