06 636 dirt bar problem!! Help!
Hey everyone I'm running dirt bars on my 06 636 for the first time and all my cables (front brake, rear hand brake, clutch) seem to be short! Anybody have any tips about this conversion to make my current cables work?
But worse case scenario if I need all new cables then I guess I have no choice
Thanks, James

Hey man, there is no way around it.
Some guys will try and fit it dodges by rerouting their cables. Don't do it, you'll end up wearing your **** out faster, not being able to turn to full lock, have a throttle that's stickier than a 14 year olds gym sock etc.
Your best bet is to get cables made to fit. In Aus there are a lot of old school dudes that will make them for you. Hell, you can even by a kit and start making your own. That way in the future you could have any bars you want!

Bakes are easy, measure and get steel braided in the length you need.
03/04 636 clutch cable is longer. get it from kawi for $25
For the throttle... have you tried spinning the assembly so the cables are on the bottom?

but as for my rear hand brake and clutch cable I'll have to grab longer cables

I also have the 03/04 I'll try swapping the two, and as for the throttle I did flip them down for the extra slack so it's not so snug
