i have the 88 Takegawa kit with the PC18 Khenin carburetor. When i bring it up all the gas runs out the over flow of the carb bowl. Do they make an intake that would tilt the carb foward.

 

no one wants to help the noob? Any ideas on anything els i could do? Any one els witht he takegawa kit having this problem? Have no problems with a stock fiddy

 

Dont know alot abot the takegawa kit and carb but it sounds a little like your bowl float needle is hanging open. Of course it may just be that the carb your using doesn't like high wheelies. You can pull the bottom cover of carb to check. When the float is down, fuel should flow. When up it should cut off.

May be that it just doesn't float well and function properly when not level. Could also be hanging up or something. You may be able to modify the float needle or float and get it to function at a "wheelie" angle better. Who knows.

 

i just cleaned the carb the other day and it seemed to be ok. Ill take it back off and tilt it and see if it hangs up. thanx
