anybody have a how-to install a left side peg on a crf50??

I bought some cheap wal mart BMX pegs.

I need some help, thanks guys/gals.

 

the hole in the BMX peg is too small, wo what you are gonna have to do it make a bigger hold on in where the axel screw can fit in it and then just take the left nut out, put the peg in the hole and put the nut back in!!!!!!! thats all!!!!

 

Use the big axel pegs and take off your OE chain adjusters and weld bolts on both pegs where the chain adjuster should be and ta da stunt pegs

 

the walmart pegs are too fat to use the stock chain adjusters, so you have to drill a hole in the peg where the chain adjuster would set, and weld a piece of allthread in there so that you are able to get the nut on the axel, and it keeps the pegs from spinning so that your axel doesn't loosen up. once you got them mounted you can mark them and miter them so that they don't hit the ground as easy in circles (i don't do it, but 50 stunt's pegs are mitered)

 

Wal-mart peg worked like a charm. Just drilled it out and slid it on when I put my street tires on. Badda bing, wheelie peg.

 

^^^yeah if you only want one peg (thats why you see ppl w/ just 1 peg) now the secret is out lol

Get a peg for a 14mm axel (its oversized so you dont have to drill out the peg hole)... I did this before I got my 50stunt pegs with a set of DK bmx pegs (stock ones that come on their bikes) and it worked great.

 

I use milled 50 stunt pegs

 

50 stunt cuts thers at 45 so you can do killer cicerls

 

i got a peg from the bike shop...lol...try to get aluminum so it would b easier to drill...and after time if u scrape it alot...it will make its own wedge so u dont hit it ne more..and they r easier to grind down if u got a grinder...

 

hey guys just bought a set of 50 stunt rear pegs and i was wondering if i have to upgrade the rear spokes? and where do u get the stunt life decals i want a set thanks
