Anyone with handmade Rear hb?

Im looking for some ideas to make a rear handbrake without buying the kit. my footbrake seized up so im just going to try and run a hb instead of a footbreak.

Re: Anyone with handmade Rear hb?

Here is my set up. About 50 cents of steel and a couple of minutes with my welder. I forgot what the cable came off of. I think it was some early 70's CB125. There is a sticky over on fiddylife.com with info on making your own handbrake. Mine only worked decent until I added a good lever (ASV), now I can lock the rear tire with 2 fingers.
