fiddy rear shock
Re: fiddy rear shock
in the middle of the shock theres a rod, towards the end of the rod theres a little rubber piece....if you slide that up theres a bolt underneth it. Obviously you need to loosen that bolt but you need to heat it up to break the loc-tite(bolt glue) bond. once you get it hot enough and let it cool down you should be able to loosen that bolt and take the whole shock apart.
Re: fiddy rear shock
warning - That nut on the inside of the spring is a bitch. I couldn't break the locktight with a regular wrench. I had to by a set of specialty wrenches made to get off rounded nuts to get it off. Sad part was, this was my 2nd fiddy I had done the same thing to. I had tried everything but seemed like heating it up just made the metal softer and easier to round it off.
