rear axel torque spec?

rear axel torque spec?

i know its just a mini bike but is there a torque spec for the rear axle on a xr50? thanks

Re: rear axel torque spec?

Just make sure you adjust the chain adjusters right and then tighten it pretty good .

Then look to see if adjusters are still set right and feel the chain tension .

Make sure your wheel runs straight . I look at the wheel from the back . It should line up with the top bar of the swingarm (if it is stock)

I adjust my chain when the bike is on the ground and sitting upright . (off the kickstand)

If you do it with the bike off the ground , the amount of slack in the chain will be different when you set the bike on the ground because of the swingarm movement .


Ride and visually check every once and awhile

30 Ft pounds is spec from what i remember
