Well im gonna have about 700 bucks next week and looking for a 50. Is 700 good enoguh to get a good one or should i save to 1000? Also im 5,8 289lbs. I got wrestling season comin up and will go down to 255 but what suspenison upgrades do i need to feel like im not braking the 50?

 

you should be able to get a decent used fiddy with some upgrades for about 700-1000 dollars.. you'll just need stiff springs for your weight, but they are out there. if you plan on jumping you're going to need to spend quite a bit more on frame and suspension upgrades... if you're just going to ride the street you'll be fine with and 88cc motor and stiff springs

 

Dude with your size you should be looking at a xr/crf 70 or drz/klx 110 you'll feel a little cramped on a 50........

im 6'2 and i feel fine on a z50.

 

ive rode my buddies ttr 50 and with big bars its just a **** load of fu n to me, i don't know about jumping it but i would like to try it,but im open to moving up to something bigger. I really just wanna learn throttle control and brake control.

 

im about 6'3 and feel like i was meant to ride a 50! just make sure you keep it honda
