quick help

i was in the process of tearing my bike down and noticed that my tb 88cc bbk did not come with the small clips that go on the outsides of the needle bearing, locking it in place in the piston. before i go any farther, can anyone verify whether or not the stock oem honda ones are the same size and can be interchanged with the bbk ones? common sense tells me that they are since the needle bearing is the same size but my crf450 is torn apart with me waiting on some new valves\springs for the head and i just cant have both bikes apart and not running, waiting on parts! i got to have SOMETHING to ride....anyone?

Re: quick help

Yes, the retainer clips from the stock fiddy will work, remember you are still using the stock connecting rod that the clip goes into!

Re: quick help

yea i totally had a brainfart, i was doing yard work for the woman, working on my 50, and trying to remove the intake valves from the head of my crf450 all at the same time...

what really sucks is BOTH of my bikes are torn apart. ive got a bigger problem now, i cant get the damn clutch off because i need that special clutch nut tool from honda get at my oil pump..does everyone that installs a bbk just buy this tool? after all the research i have did i havent heard anything about this...

Re: quick help

you can get the tool from fab5fiddy on here, or go directly to his website www.fiddyboyz.com and look in the catalog. if you dont see it listed email him, it's only like 12 bucks and saves a ton of hassle
