i put a big bar kit on my 2006 crf50 today and i got it all done except the throttle cap. I don't understand how the needle and spring go back in. if you can help let me know i need to get this done quick! they are joker bars by the way

k sweet,, got everything worked out now,, just need to tune the carb a little,, it bogs at high throttle

 

the bike was dying but it ended up being a short in the kill switch. But i'm wondering, i still have the stock centrifugal clutch. when the bike will not roll backwards at all when it is in gear what does this mean?,, it does it rarely

 

Why would you want the bike to roll backwards when you have it in gear

If you mean when the bike is turned off , that's normal . It's in gear and hard to push cause it's in gear . Just like a big bike .

If you are having problems with it and it's brand new , take it to honda and show them ?

because when your sitting at idle in first gear the clutch should not be engaged, so when you roll back it should roll back free, when it makes a clunk and doesn't roll back theres a problem i'd say

 

I never tried rolling backwards when in gear and at idle .

I would still bring it in if you just bought it from Honda . That sounds like it may be expensive if it goes out on you later .

Did you buy it new ?

 

yeah it is brand new, had it around 2 weeks

 

Take it in . The sooner the better . They wiil see that you just bought it and might look at it right there .

Show them IN PERSON what you are talking about .

If you don't show them , they will say something like , "sorry i can not duplicate the problem . "

You put your money down , so they gotta help you . The customer always comes first .
