OK, you have your SPEED, do grab a handfull of brake or feather it?...im really leaving that one open, but I hope I get a serious explanation.

You want to get the *** end up high as fast as possible so you do not lose much speed. So the best technique is to grab a lot of brake and then ease off to let it roll. You will go over, so be prepared to be tackled by your bike. The street tires help tremendously. I don't know what kind of set up you are running, but the triple clamp from JBaker helps also because you can move the bars forward and get more weight over the front tire. Also, it allows for more knee room so you are not pinned under the bars. This allows you room to jump instead of going down with the bike. I hope that helps. Practice Practice Practice! And don't give up. Stoppies are half the fun.

Thanks alot for the help. I was out tonight with 8 or so 50s and most of the guys were running street tires, it does make a big difference. One of the guys w/ us had a 88cc kit with the head and all. That thing rips! My first time riding one, damn thats fun!!

Try crossed up! It's alot easier to bring it up fast with yor feet over the bars. Plus it's safer in my opinion...when it comes over too far, I just put my feet down and get the hell outta the way if Im going fast.

Ya, I was trying those last night too. It is a more comfortable feeling to have your feet over the bars in front of you!

Duck tape a roller blade to your head, Get on the Highway and go as fast as you can(then keep going for 30 more seconds), then grab as much brake as your hand will let you.

Just go as fast as you can and try to keep the back end as high up as possible. (Find the ballance point.)
This way you don't have to use the front brake as much and it will also let you roll faster.
:YEAH
