Front Spring Help

Alrigt well i just bought my front HD spring and im taking the forks out and took the spring out. BUT the new spring dont come with one of those things on the end to lock it on the fork. The stock on has it but i dont know how to take it out????How do i take it out??????

knock the spring pin out. theres pins in the spring holders

Ya i got the pin out but didnt know how to get the actual spring out of the aluminum part that twists in the spring... because it didnt twist off... BUT i just ended up cuttin ght stock spring out of there....ehh

you have to cut them out with a grinder.

use a screwdriver and twist it off

that how I got mine and a buddy did the same thing
