mid wheelie in a second gear spreader, all i heard was the top end stop working and crack, down i came.


88 kit had a ridiculous amount of power though i must say at 6500-7000 ft

stage 2 btw


the cam chain broke so i ordered a new one, i guess the bolts werent torqued down enough

ill try again this week when the parts come in.

 

That's a big job to replace. I think you have to split the case halfs for that job. Hope the valves didn't get into the top of the piston. Could be a really pain. Bent valves, Valve guides...

did youmake sure to take the dowel pin out fo the stock cam and use it on the TB cam? also use your stock honda cam gear ( if there was aa TB one in your kit)

there's been some people having issued with TC related parts when that dowel is not in and when using the TB cam gear.

never had the problem myself but i read a lot of threads on it a while back
