Carb Adjustment help

When I twist throttle all the way (quickly) the bike dies. If I go slowly it revs fine?
Any suggestions on what Adjustments I need to make? Bike is an XR50 with 82cc big bore kit, BBR pipe, K&N air filter, stock carb.
Move clip up a notch? Thanks.

Re: Carb Adjustment help

I am having the exact same problem, though I have a stock engine. If you go full throttle very quickly the bike dies, if you do it slowly it gets up to speed just fine. Please please someone help, thanks!

These bikes don't have accelerator pumps so they can't keep up. From idle to WFO(wide freekin open) it will die everytime. Just get it past idle and then you can do what ever you want.

Re: Carb Adjustment help

i had the same problem. just move the clip on the needel down a click or two. Then turn the screw below the ideal screw in all the way. As you do that adjust the ideal screw. As you do this the bike will rev higher when you turn the other one so you need to turn the ideal screw to the left. Then you can rip it wide open! :YEAH
