Anyone have a bbr kit and the throttle cable is to long? I have my sh** zip tied to the other side of the bars and the adjustment on the trottle housing ran completely out and i still cant get all the play out. I had them send me another one cause i thought it was the wrong one but still the same thing. AND the bend on the carb cap hits the bottom of the tank cause its to long but they said this is normal?


Anyone else have these problems with BBR kits?

 

i bought a pro taper set and had the same problem with the carb cap and u need to take the tank all the way off the frame and put ur cable on then put ur tank back on...dunno about the extra slack sorry...

had the same shiet on mine just put it on right , if it worx good dont mess with it.

 

I Just Bought One On Monday And Had The Same Prob I Bent The Cable Housing To The Carb A Little And Then Made Sure To Screw It All The Way Down Onto The Carb And Then Hooked Up My Thottle And She Worked Out Fine No More Slack And Also I Zip Tied It And It Cause The Cable To Hang Up And Cause Me To Speed Up So I Left It Alone

 

find someont wit a dirtbike and hoo noes wat there doing.....they will adjust it for u....

 

i know what im doin ***** i have been ride'n motorcross since i was 8.... i just ask if anyone else had the same problems witht he bar kit

 

lol...my bad dude...i no wat im doin on bikes too....but it will work..i had the same prob...i had some dude come over n look at it...5 minutes at 2 wrenches later it was awsome...

 

haha alright ill have my boy look at it, a fresh pair of eyes does the trick sometimes
