Handbrake yes or no?

I was wondering if its a good idea to put a handbrake on a fiddy?
I mean is it acutly goin to be useful, or just there if you get into trouble?

Re: Handbrake yes or no?

i've got one, the best idea is to try not to used it as a crutch, i hardly use it, but it's still there for if a trick goes too far and engine brake can't save it.

Handbrake are usefull, they open up a bunch more tricks and allow you to bring **** up higher. I couldn't do a seat stander 12 without one.

Re: Handbrake yes or no?

high chair on a 50 + hand brake = good
I use my foot when my foot is on the peg or at least close to it
no sense in splitting your wig on the little bike

honestly tho, you don't NEED a HB on a fiddy to do alot fo the technical tricsk (ss,spreader, HC circles) there's plenty of poeple out there doing all those without, but a HB is always a nice thing to have.....

if your asking then no

youll know when you need one youll get bored with after ya progress past the foot brake and have the tc to do off peg circles then think about getting one

Re: Handbrake yes or no?

the only reason you need a rear hand brake is if you have rear stunt pegs

I agree I don't use it much either but for people learning on the rear pegs it helps a lot
