dont use that sprocket. use the stock one. i have about 150 cam sprockets over here that i never include in my kits for that exact reason. my only complaint ever about a TB product. not a big deal since you can still use the stocker.

ok, make sure the copper washer is on the lower right stud when looking at the front of the bike. also make sure an acorn nut is on that one and not the open nut.

as far as leaking between the head, sounds like you forgot one of the black o rings or the green one. it shouldnt leak a drop.

ok well I went back and looked at pics when it was stock and the copper washer and closed nut are on the bottom left when your at the front of the bike looking head on and the lower right has a regular washer and the open nut
Is that what you meant? Also I know for sure i didnt leave out the black o ring or the green one I made sure I put them in there and in the right place I studied my clymers and the two brothers install guide before sealing it up
But I will try changing the nut see if that does it

Re: TB 88kit Cam holes dont line up

I went ahead and switched the nuts around and it fixed both leaks but it seems like the bike is cutting out every few beats it sounds like it cuts out for just a split second when its at idle also if im in 2nd or 3rd going slow and start to give it gas it stumbles then jumps in action
thanks for the advice so far much appreciated

try leaning it out, if it's gotta stock pipe , put in teh smalles jet that came with your kit (85 if you gotta takegawa kit or similar) and try putting the needle clip in the 2nd slot from the top. i had to go to an 82 main and i'm still a bit rich

not sure if you got teh light bore or teh upgraded carb and intake too
