question.. are bushings better than springs for the forks?? or is it preference?..
That's a great start. Bars, heavy duty springs and street tires will help a lot.

Bushings are definitely a good idea to do while you are doing the fork springs, they are a big help.

^ like C-Dub said the bishings are a great addition while the forks are apart.

might as well do them both at once and save the headache/pain in the a$$ of taking the forks apart twice.

what do the bushings do? : well, if you hit the brake and the tire turns to one side and then returns when you let off the brake...that is the SLOP that is in the factory bushings. throw in some delrin bushings now and you'll never have to worry about that

Generally the stock shock with heavy duty spring is fine for stunting and street riding, you'll have to see for yourself though, you're a big guy.

Some of the more experienced guys say that some of the more advanced stunts are better with a stock seat. I like the tall seat A LOT, here's why...

I sit almost all the way back on the seat, like most people do. The stock seat, from the back of it, angles down into the middle of the seat, so gravity naturally pushes you forward on it. I found myself pushing my butt back constantly because of that and also having to stand up and shake out the occasional wedgie! The tall seat goes straight across, it doesn't angle down towards the center, so I don't slide forward anymore. Much better.

My tall seat is an SDG with a black gripper cover. I think it was almost $90. It was what they happened to have in stock at my local Honda dealer. I like it, I think most of the tall seats are probably about the same though.
