make sure you got the nut on the outside of the rim, put it on the stem, put air in the tube a few times while bouncing the rim and tire on the ground to seat the tube, and then on the final inflate after you are done, tighten the nut down snuggly, and your done. the nut will help keep the tube from shifting.

goodluck...later

Its all about the right tire. Perelli 3.0 x 10. I rode my tire for a year at 15 psi with no flats, just retired it for a new one.

Do pretty much what gixxerguy said: put the nut on the valve stem on the outside of the rim. That's what it's there for.

I've noticed that with low pressure the tube will spin even with the nut on. Sometimes it loosens up and I have to tighten it up again.

Re: tube's with big street tire up grade.....

tightening the nut makes it worse. also you cant tell when you need to stop take out the air and pull the stem straight before you rip it. ive seen my tube fully folded up in the tire, stem was straight. its NOT a rimlock, although that would be really cool!!!
