I'll throw some race gas in there every now and then to annoy people with the smell.

Re: gas on fiddys

there's absolutely no benifit in running high octane gas unless you have a high compression motor. the higher octane is just to prevent detonation in performance orienated motors with high compression.

race gas does smell good though, unless it's nutec, that s*** STINKS

run the lowest octane rating without detonation... on a stock or 88cc motor that is normally 87 octane.

Re: gas on fiddys

This has little to do with what you guys are talking about, however, I found this fascinating. I was talking with a fuel truck driver the other day and he told me that their is no such thing as 89 octane or "midgrade". Midgrade is actually a mixture of 91 and 87 octanes. You prob. all knew this so disreguard if you did, lol!

So then 89 octane is different .

It is not 87 . And it is not 91 .

It is 89

Kinda like a Gin-n-Juice . The more juice you add , the weaker the drink . But it is still Gin-n-Juice
