hey, i have a 01 xr fiddy, with a scrape bar, tripples, big bar kit, street tires, and it is stock performance wise, i know that i should change the gearing in the rear for more tourque, but i was wondering how many teeth i should go up. any clue?

 

0...........50's are slow enough.. no need to gear...easily will pull up in 3rd almost wrapped completly out... i wouldnt gear unless it was bored out...

 

leave stock gearing get used to pulling it up using more weight instead of power.

 

i also agree with keeping stock gearing, i went 45 rear an it was horrible. what about going -1 in the front?

 

i tried going one down in the front a while back... first gear is useless after doing that... stock gearings the best.
