hey **** lips i got a 12 tooth front sprocket and a 38 rear and i think thats a good reason on why its slow up top, but even though its slow uptop ill still blow you ***** off off the line, and at eisler's track.


oh yeah points took a **** on me today, dam thing died while we were back in the woods

fab what'll you get for a set of points for one of these machines? also know if theres anyway to tell if its the points of the coil? figure that after almost 23 years somthing had to go bad.

i dont deal with points motors too often. yer best bet is to peep ebay. if u have a ohm meter and a service manual u can check the coil. get that thing goin so you can show up **** lips over there.

I was able to get new points and condenser from my local honda dealer for the 69Z , not very expensive either... hey fab I was wondering about a basic big bore kit for the crf, whatever size would work best with the stock head... ... could you PM me a price? thx

also remeber when you replace your points to put a new condesor on it
they should open at the f mark on your flywheel. gap is .0013
the condesor can go bad and youll get no spark too

most of the time just clean em reset em and walla
if you wanna check the condesor put it on a battery and let it charge up without touching the wire toss it to a buddy if it shocks the **** out of him it still works if it doesnt it is toast ive been shocked once lol never again
