You can take it to a trustworthy welder that knows what the hell he's doing (you COULD do MIG on aluminum, but don't settle for anything less than TIG).
And it's important that this person really knows what he's doing because aluminum is NOT easy to weld. I won't get into the technicalities on why, but this sort of job isn't something you do in your garage with your friend's TIG welder.
Obviously it depends on the severity of the crack, though. You might be better off buying an engine on e-bay.

I use E-Z Weld Aluminum Welding Rods. They make a really strong repair and can be welded with a propane torch.
