I loved cbr's ever since I was a kid. I just like they way they look and every year they seem to get better and better!
good luck over there bro....maybe when you get back I'll be goin. That's the problem with bikes, every year they come out with new improvements. So you can never have the "new shiat"...

If I rode a gixxer like that I'd have already toasted at least 1 motor.

I rode a gixxer 750 for almost 2 years and I went through 8 motors in it. The f4i is the ****. Who gives a flying **** about horsepower anyways other than the cycleworld reading dorks? this is stuntlife not gooberlipsracerlife.com I like it so much I am about to get another one. And I am choosing the f4i over the 929.
keep your ear open for the cam chain tensioner, thats about the only factory defect thats a real issue on some bikes.. i been through 3 of em so far. next one will be a manual tensioner also make sure you get the valves adjusted at 16000 miles "if your engine makes it that far" other than that, your right ! the bike is wicked.. i love mine !! love it so much when i flipped a stoppie and the insurance said they would pay out for it to be total loss.. i said ""no way""" give me what you can, im keeping this bike !! to much blood sweat and tears are in this one to give it up, im probably gonna have it till it rusts apart :YEAH

Re: 2004 or 2003 f4i, which is better?

Okay, I ride an F4i, bought it new in 02. At that time, the only fuel injected 600's were the Gixxer and F4i. The F4i was more comfortable to me so that's what I got.

Whoever said 90hp is crazy. I don't know where you got that from, but it's maybe about 2 or 3 down for the other 600's. Now the new crop of 04/05 600's has widened the gap, you'll never notice it on the street. Everybody raves about the newest greatest thing out there, but I doubt most would be able to ride it to it's limits anyway.

Anyway, there are absolutely no differences between any of the F4i's. Same bike completely, except for the change back to the F4 seat this year. When they put out the RR, they decided to market the F4i as the street friendly bike. It was always meant to be the streetable 600 anyway, so it made sense. The 04 is not lighter, not faster, nothing has changed. Same bike through and through.

Oh, and mine is PIMP, so take your new gixxer/kawi/yama and shove it Ride red ****ers!!
