f'n dealership
f'n dealership
Bastards... charge you up the *** for everything. F'n parts are so damn simple... yet they want to rape you for them, then they say hey, I want to stick some shipping charges up your *** too! A relay... like 50 bucks... thats one of the simplest electrical componets ever made. And they charged me fricken close to 100 for the front pads.
I'm pissed right now.
I'm pissed right now.
Re: f'n dealership
I hear you bro. *** the dealership or any fukin shop. They all want to stiff you. A guy today tried to sell me a used gixxer fan for a $150 and I bought a radiator, fan and switch off e-bay for $68. *** them all!!!
Re: f'n dealership
Dealerships blow, yes. The guy who owned my Gixxer before me paid just over 14 thousand total for it, making payments...loan....whatever. But I bought it off him at the end of 2002, with only 3 thousand miles on it, mint condition, for 6 grand. Then, going over my newly recieved paperwork for the bike, I saw how much he had paid. I almost felt bad for the guy, then I went and rode it, so I felt better.
Re: f'n dealership
Took my 929 to the dealership one time to have the tires changed after I first bought it. This is my first street bike keep in mind. They charged 76 f@#$n dollars in labor to mount a balance new tires. That just ain't right. I paid it that one time but never again....feel sorry for the fools who keep going there
Re: f'n dealership
i got it made...at my local shop i'm good friends with the parts guy..meets or beats most internet prices, and 2 of my friends are mechanics...free mounting (some times gotta pay for weights if the boss is around) and if i have a problem i can bring it to one of their houses to get fixed instead of paying the shop prices.

Just kidden bro, you lucky bastard.
Town and Country here in Az wanted to charge me 450 bucks to change brake fluid. This is my first streetbike, but I thought I sensed a rapist down that alley...

And has anyone heard about those "phone numbers" in the back of motorcycle magazines. I've heard you can get numbers that are like direct to the honda manufacturers or any other company... like over in japan or whatever... I've never seen the numbers.. but I heard if you get them then you don't have to pay the dealership mark-up.
