If you have honestly rode both the R & RR, seat of the pants... what's your opinion? How much stronger does the R feel, if any?

 

havent' ridden the 6r, but the 636 does have more grunt as my fellow racers tell me...the slipper clutch and adjustable swingarm are nice, but only for advanced experts...

 

Stats claim 4-5hp spread, but I have heard that the R just feels so much stronger. I find it hard to believe. I was very pleased to find out my RR has forged pistons as opposed to the cast on the 636 as if I keep it for the street NOS is a distinct possibilty. My curiousity stems from me getting ready to purchase another bike, and available all at the same price are: 2004 ZX-6R (2k miles), 2000 929 (11k, custom, photo in gallery), 2002 GSX-R 750(s). I like pushin the 600's, and if the 636 really has that much more... I think I'd get another Kawi. I never really liked the feeling a Kawi gave you, but I have come to love my RR.

Hard decision...

 

i would only get the RR is your going to race competitivly, if its just sreet bike, get a 636

 

i haven't ridden a RR yet but my 04 636 rips :YEAH

if your getting a second bike get something different (they can't be that different) like an 04 zx-10
