Last night going 635 S around centerville we were going down the highway pretty fast when a car pulled right into my lane as I was passing. I slammed right into the back of the car and went tumbling down the highway. Luckily my helmet saved my head from any damage and jacket did a pretty damn good job considering how torn up it looks. Im all bruised up and road rashed on some areas but overall I came out of that very very lucky.

I havent even made my first bike payment. Brand new Ducati 749 totaled.

It's a fact gear save lives! Insurance will get you another bike, save some cash and get a Honda.

Damn, smart move on wearing the gear. That sucks about the bike, the ins. company will take care of you nicely. Did the police site the car that pulled out at fault?

yea i made the post the other day about my dream bike. unfortanetly its gone. when i can walk im gonna go up to the impound and take a look at it. cuz i havent seen it yet. i was going to buy a 954 if i couldnt afford the duc, maybe i should have bought it. anyways, i talked to ducati yesterday, and he said hed see if he can just replace it with a new bike. not sure how htat works, i guess through insurance, but well see.
would the lady be at fault if i was speeding, though? or would it be both of us? i dunoo, i havent heard a police r eport yet or anything. ill try to post pics when i go up there. adjustors are supposed to go there thursday and get back to me.

it was a $150 frank thomas jacket from cycle gear and a $89 vega helmet from action suzuki. best investment i ever made.helmet didnt even crack, just scratched to hell, same with jacket.

actually it was a full leather jacket. so it did a job well done.
Good news though. Insurance called and said it wasnt totaled, so I have to take it up to Ducati today and let them fix it all. Ill take pictures today. Considering what happened, the damage is not bad at all.
