Re: how many bikes have you owned?
to many dirt bikes and stuff. Not going to list those....to many things to write . These are only the street bikes I have had......
1984 Honda Aero 50
(first street bike, got at age 13 to have it stolen by me from the cops for not having a lisence to drive, never to see her again, we had good times watching my friends try to get to someones house while I rode in style)
1972 Honda CB 550
(first street bike that shifted gears, oldie but goodie. I could now enter the world of the freeway. Can you imagine? I rode a bike on the freeway before I learned in a car)
1984 Yamaha Sabre
(didn't like it, shaft driven, cool as it was the first biek with digital gauges and an overdrive)
1987 Kawasaki EX 500
(loved it, wrecked it at least 4 times as a youngster, great learner bike. Seemed overly powerful from the 72 CB550. Technology. And it also taught me to respect the power as I took my time to learn although I acted stupid at times)
1987 Kawasaki 600R
(great, liked it wrecked and totalled it)
1988 Kawsaki 600R
(liked it, wrecked it, fixed it got injured pretty bad. My friend wanted to ride it and i told him if he wrecked it I got his suped up '68 el camino (with 10,000 in motor work. Well, he wrecked my bike on the fun ride around the block. His *** went down by the beach showing off for b!tches and wrecked. I got his car. It was too much to handle as far as financing the thing to keep it going. I was in high school and this thing would cost $30 to go to the beach and back to my house (a 15minute drive). I couldn't afford it so I traded it in for another bike.
1988 Suzuki Katana 600
(got it on a trade for a '68 el camino I had. I should have sld it for alot more but it had a **** load of back taxes and couldn't afford it and instead of looking at it I traded it in. I also fukked with the engine and couldn't figure out what I screwed up. It woudl run but when you go it would just die. Just like that and the gauges (rpm, pressure, super charger boost, water and more) got all screwy and started boundcing all opver the place. Beat it up. But always took care of my stuff, got it painted, etc and sold it. Turns out I sold it to some illegal aliens ready to make a getaway and had the FEDs and customs calling me about helping their illegal activity. I was like I am 16 and sold it and they left. Case closed, don't know'em, will never know'em and don't know who they were. Never checked ID and didn't care. Cali you don't need a gov't official to approve who is selling what vehicle to whom. Oklahoma you have to get it notorized and they check ID, dates, stamps it, and a bunch of headache)... I can make it longer but don't want to. I have much extra funny info too. But *** it...Let's move on...
1989 Honda CBR 600 Hurricane
(I custom painted it, put soe goodies on it, loved it. No complaints. Even drove it to Las Vegas from San Diego and topped it out for 30 minute
1992 Kawasaki ZX-6
-nice
1995 Kawasaki ZX-6
-fun
1996 GSXR 1100
(bored out, raced out, got raped and part stolen by mechanic. Sued but never got a penny back nor the ported and polished head, titanium valves, etc)
1998 GSXR 750
-so far the best bike hands down I have ever owned. I have raced 1/4 mile on a track day and beat just about everyone besides a GSXR 1000 or equivalent and above... I even had this one guy puzzled. You ever see that look on someones face after they try and try and still don't get it. I beat his 2003 GSXR 750 7 times. He beat me 2 X do to one miss shift and one late start. Any 600 I don't care how many new advancements in technology they have. I'll smoke'em. Unless they have NOS or turbo or some crazy crap. Keep in mind that the guys I am racing are like 140-150lbs on their bikes including that 2003 GSXR 750. In fact that guy could barely touch the ground with the tips of his toes. So much lighter for the bike to carry itself or the person. I am 270lbs so a bike difference and a disadvantage in technology and my ***......
Maybe I am just good. I can't imagine what I could do with extra cash and a newer bike. I'd blast right thru slow folks. I talked to a buddy tonight. He got a ****** 2004 ZX 10. The first in this small oklahoma town. Appx 60,000 people. And he is gonna bring it to our bike night down here. And this is his 2nd bike. Man that bike and I would make love and could actually use the power. Power to carry me and not be ready to lift from a small *** guy trying to keep it down when he wants to.....
Anybody want to give me some money to get one?
