I'm looking at getting some riding shoes, like the Joe Rocket Atomic's or something like those. Does anyone have some or wear any "riding type" shoes or does everyone wear boots ? And how well would those joe rocket atomic shoes protect my feet if i went down ? Also, does any other companies sell riding shoes, cause joe rocket is all i've found so far. Everyone else just sells the boots ? ? ? Any knowledgable info would be helpful..... Thanks

thx, guys, i'll give the icons a look. And yeh, i've been wearing sneakers but just started riding with a guy that said he had a friend in the army or airforce or something a few years ago that crashed with sneakers on and it tore right through them and the guy lost like 4 of his toes on one foot. I want some casual type shoes/boots to ride in, because the guys i ride with stop a lot and hang out at different joints, rallys, etc. so not wanting the big riding boots, but i wanna make sure that the shoes or low cut boots like the icons will protect me and not shred into pieces like a tennis shoe will on pavement ?

 

Thats what I got. Wear em ridin, were em pimpin, hell once I even wore em to bed.
