Ok so I'm gettin ready to buy my first bike and I'd never ridden one before and don't know what to really look for to make sure it's good and working fine. Only one of my friends has a bike and he's going to school in New York right now so I have no one that knows anythinga bout bikes. So waht I'm asking is when I go to look to buy a bike what should I look for to make sure it's going to run fine and what should I ask? Thanks in advance!

if you know nothing about 'em and you have no friends that do id suggest you bring it to a shop to have it checked out before you buy it. just my
