My friend wants to sell me a 94 F2 with 24,000 miles brand new rear tire, new chain he got it jetted with a new yosho. pipe, its in perfect condition no blemishes no mechanical deffects, im not familiar with bikes at al so im wondering if 2900 is too much for the bike?l

I would have to say it's all up to u. I just bought a 99' zx-9r for $2800 last month from a friend of mine and all it needs is the front upper and the 2 mids which i'm trying to buy on ebay right now. I asked it mine was a good buy and everyone was like yeah of course. I didn't know for sure if it was but they helped me out so now i know i got a deal. My bike came with all bolt-ons chrome plated including the tank, forks, frame and swingarm polished, with sliders and K&N with yoshimira RS-3 full exhuast. 12,000 miles

If u want it and like it then buy it. That's what it comes down to, how bad do u want a bike and do u like this bike that much to pay $2900 for. My friend has a pretty 96' gsxr750 11,000 miles, 2000 plastic on it, silver just real nice for $3000. If u don't really want a 600 or that old of a bike with that many miles than wait. I waited for over 6 months til i got this. It's a hard decision so just go with ur gut and see what everyone else says.

Yeah i think im gonna get it, its a really nice bike, everything is reall good on the bike. And no im not going to be stunting its my first bike, im just gonna learn on it then in a couple years when i know alot more than i do now im gonna keep it, get a way better bike for twisties, cruising, and keep the F2 for stunting. Thanks for the respones guys. Cant wait to start riding. :YEAH

has it been stunted, wheelued or beaten, if it has 24k is alot of miles, make shure it shifts good and do a leak down test on the cylinders. if thats all cool, then yes. iwould say offer him 2500 and see if he bites.
