Thought I would tell you I just ran across My full set of stock turn signals that im gonna sell.

 

I don't need turn signals Ijust need the upper and side mid fairings. Thanks for the input though.

 

Ha......your buddy got that bike at DMS right?........I live right down the road from there.Not a bad bike but dirty and a good deal of miles.He wanted $4200 for it what did your buddy pay for it?They have only had it for a couple days ya know.Kid traded it in on R1.
I had a 98 9r and it would kick the **** outta a 929.period!I won a $400 bet one night in O-town....couple guys bet me I couldn't yank it all the way up at 140mph and hit 5th......just a Muzzy and factory kit.Took them out on 4 and second try she took there money!


One bad point though.....the tranny's blow donkey dick!....we had three in our group and they all lost 2nd gear.The dogs on the gears are a bit weak.Funny thing was my 2nd went out on the downside of the gear......go figure!

 

Yeah, pretty sure thats it, and yes it is dirty. It will get some good cleaning before thursday night.Mind you its his first bike hes actually owned, he calls me like about to cry saying he thinks he got jipped. says it wont start, it was cuttin in and out, sputtering! so i asked him if it had gas? he said he heard it sloshing around but it still didnt start.so i asked him if he turned the reserve on? he asked that was, after i explined it to him he kinda was like oh, then he abruptly hung up and called back a hour or so later tellin me ima genuis! lmao

 

That's some funny **** about the gas. He should have read "how to ride and what to check before riding." I didn't know anything about the gearing problem though. What can u do to fix it? Is there better gears and parts to put in to replace stock? Let me know
